Life's not a race. But we're super happy to partner up with the Vattenfall Solar Team.

At HUB Footwear we work on sustainability in many ways. And that is why we look outside our comfort zone for collaborations that fit in with our interests. Like this one. A collaboration born out of sustainability. The Vattenfall Solar Team will race in the Solar Challenge Morocco in October 2021. A brand new race, organized due to the cancellation of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2021. With Nuna11, the team will compete against solar teams from other universities around the world.

The Vattenfall Solar Team will be taking over our Instagram for a couple of days! Live from Morocco, they will take us along behind the scenes at the Solar Challenge 2021.

The race is split into five stages in which each team has to race from point to point. In each stage, the time of each team will be recorded. The team that finishes with the shortest total time wins the race.

Here’s what you can expect:
22-23 October: Static Scrutineering
24 October: Dynamic scrutineering and qualification
25 October: Start (Stade Adrar, Agadir)
29 October: Finish (Stade Adrar, Agadir)
